SWABI: A stenographer working at the Swabi DSP office was shot dead here on Wednesday.

District Police Officer Javid Iqbal told Dawn that the stenographer was going home from the office when two men on a motorcycle opened fire on him in the Gari Kapura area.

Meanwhile, eight security personnel were injured in a roadside bomb blast in the Spin Wam area of South Waziristan.-Dawn Report
