PO arrested in KSA, brought back by police

LAHORE: During the ongoing crackdown on dangerous fugitives hiding abroad, Punjab police arrested another proclaimed offender (PO), who had been at large for three years, from Saudi Arabia.

The fugitive, Sanaullah, was wanted by Rajanpur police in a robbery case.

Punjab police got issued a Red Notice by Interpol for the arrest of the fugitive, who was arrested in close coordination with Saudi police and brought back.

Sanaullah was handed over to Rajanpur police.

A police spokesperson said that with the latest arrest, the total number of the POs nabbed abroad this year has reached 97.

Punjab Inspector General of Police (IGP) Dr Usman Anwar appreciated the Dera Ghazi Khan regional police officer (RPO), Rajanpur district police officer (DPO), and their team for the successful operation.
