KARACHI: A commercial aircraftmade anunscheduled landing at Karachi airport on Monday evening after a passenger fell sicl< and needed immediate medical attention.

Sources said that the Dhaka-bound flydubai flight was over Karachi after taking off from Dubai when one of its female passengers complained of a severe stomachache. The pilot decided to land the airplane at the closest Jinnah International Airport.

They said that she was examined at the airport and doctors suspected that she was facing appendix pains.

The sources said that in the meantime all passengers were moved to a lounge as the aircraft developed some technical fault. The airline was sending a new aircraft to take passengers to Dhaka, they added.
