LARKANA: Seven people died and another 20 were injured when a Larkana-bound passenger bus hit a motorcycle and plunged into a roadside ditch along Larkana-Wagan Road on Tuesday.

According to survivors, the driver of the bus, carrying pilgrims and their families, unsuccessfully tried to save the motorcycle that suddenly appeared before it at the Marri turning, some 10km from Larkana city. The biker, later identified as Hubdar Mirani, died on the spot, officials at the Rasheed Wagan police station said.
