MIRPURKHAS: A landlord threw acid on a labourer for arriving late at his workplace in Deh 153 near here on Saturday, inflicting serious injuries to his leg, hands and sensitive parts.

The acid victim who was brought to Digri taluka hospital by his mother after the landlord stopped him from seeking medical help told journalists that he failed to reach on time at the farmland of Abdul Khalique Jatt a few days ago and the landlord threw acid on him in punishment. -Correspondent
