Beggars arrested The Rawalpindi police in another crackdown arrested 29 professional beggars from different roads and highways to discourage the menace of begging and avoid risk of road accidents. On the directives of the in-charge beggars squad, the police took action against the professional beggars and detained them in different police stations, said the spokesperson.

The SSP operations said the special beggar squad was working hard to overcome the increasing number of professional beggars.
