KARACHI: Childhood cancer survivors, their families and healthcare professionals gathered at Bagh Ibne Qasim to participate in an awareness walk on Saturday morning.
The Child Aid Association (CAA) organised the ‘Walk of Hope’ with participation from the PakistanSociety of Paediatric Oncologists (PSPO) and Umeed as part of ‘Gold September’, which is observed as Childhood Cancer Awareness Month.
Supporters of CAA and its staff were also among the participants of the walk held to express solidarity with children and families affected by the disease.
The event highlighted the importance of timely diagnosis, treatment and continued support for childhood cancer patients.
