SUKKUR: Sindh Inspector General of Police Javed Alam Odho on Saturday reviewed the progress of a police investigation into the recovery of Fahmida Pitafi, who had gone missing on Jan 1, 2026 in Daharki town.
Chairing a meeting of senior police officials in Mirpur Mathelo, Ghotki district, he directed the officers concerned to use all available resources to ensure her safe and early recovery.
He called for ensuring complete implementation of court orders in the case without delay.
The Sindh High Court has ordered the IGP to appear before it on the next date of the hearing of the case to explain failure of police in recovering the missing woman.—Correspondent
