Teenager found shot dead in Manghopir

KARACHI: A missing teenage boy was found shot dead in Manghopir on Monday, police said They said that Feroz Mehrullah, 17, had gone missing from Manghopir a few days ago, and an FIR was lodged at the area police station.

The bullet-riddled body was recovered from a desolate place off Northern Bypass. It appeared that the corpse had lain there for around three-four days.

The body was shifted to the Abbasi Shaheed Hospital (ASH) to fulfil medico-legal formalities.

Area SHO Sarfraz Awan said the initial probe revealed that the victim`s friend, identified as Kabeer, was involved in the murder over `some issue`. He said the suspect has escaped to avoid arrest.

Two shot dead in city Two men were murdered in as many incidents in the metropolis on Monday.

A 25-year-old man was shot dead in Orangi Town by the firing of a lone suspect in Ghaziabad,Sector-11,accordingtothePakistan Bazaar police.

Area SHO Bashir Wadho said that the victim, Ahad Hussain, left his home for work at a factory when armed man opened fire on him and fled.

The SHO, quoted the worshippers who were just leaving the mosque at around 6:40am that the suspect did not attempt to snatch anything from him. He suffered a single bullet wound which proved to be fatal.

The police suspected personal enmity behind the murder. The body was shifted to the ASH.

In another incident, 28-year-old Afaq Ahmed, was gunned down at Bakhtawar Road, Phase-I in Gulshan-i-Hadeed, according to the Steel Town police.

The police believed that the incident might be an outcome of personal enmity as `the victim`s family was allegedly involved in murder of their cousin in Peshawar`. The family has nominated the suspects in the case.

The body was shifted to the Jinnah Postgraduate Medical Centre.
