LIBRARY INTERNET: The Madar-iMillat Library, operating under the Nazaria-i-Pal(istan Trust in Johar Town near Tohl(ar Niaz Baig in Lahore, is a valuable facility for students and readers alike. Its peaceful atmosphere, comfortable seating, air-conditioning and disciplined environment make it an excellent place for visitors. However, one important facility reliable internet is still missing. Students today increasingly depend on online lectures, digital books, research material and current affairs resources. In the absence of Wi-Fi, many students have to rely on expensive mobile data packages which leads to the financial burden. The authorities concerned should consider providing a reliable Wi-Fi facility for library users.
Fageer Hussain Bhatti Depalpur PATHETIC ROADS: While the mayor of Karachi has claimed that roads and sidewall(s in the city have been repaired, my area presents a different picture.
Starting from Nazimabad No. 1 service lanes whether it is Urdu Bazaar, Petrol Pump or the double road having Mujahid Parl( on one side and the Peela School on the other the entire route feels like a mountainous region. A single monsoon spell is enough to make these roads deadly.
Do we need to wait for lives to be lost before the authorities may finally wake up? Syed Muhammad Hasan Bagar Rizvi Karachi PLANTATION DRIVE: The government aims at planting 20 million saplings across the country during the Monsoon Tree Plantation campaign. Pal(istan has seen multiple ambitious tree plantation drives before, but its forest cover remains less than five per cent. Planting trees has never been a problem; the problem is their care and maintenance. No one 1(nows how many of these saplings survive post-plantation. The officials only care about their inauguration videos and photos, not about plant survival. Plants die because no one waters them and protects them from animals. The government should plant suitable saplings in line with soil and water conditions and monitor their survival.
