PESHAWAR: Fire erupted in a private hospital located in the interior city on Sunday.

However, no casualty was reported.

The firefighters of Rescue 1122 extinguished the fire after two hours` struggle.

A spokesman of Rescue 1122 told Dawn that three patients admitted to the Shireen Shah Hospital were shifted safely by the rescuers. He said that 11 fire vehicles, two water bowsers and heavy machinery were used to put out the fire and rescue the patients.

Smoke ejectors were used to flush out the huge smoke accumulated inside the building, he added.
