LAHORE: The Lahore High Court (LHC) on Monday summoned counsels for all parties to present arguments at the next hearing (Sept 30) on a petition seeking quashing of a criminal case registered against Advocate Ramsha Iqbal, the sister of actor Momina Iqbal.
Justice Abher Gul Khan heard the petition filed by Ramsha Iqbal, who appearedbefore the court along with other lawyers.
During the hearing, replies concerning the case were submitted to the Lahore High Court by MPA Saqib Chadhar and Bhowana police in Chiniot district. The court made the replies part of the judicialrecord.
According to the petitioner, a case was registered against her at Bhowana Police Station, Chiniot, on the complaint of MPA Saqib Chadhar.
Ramsha Iqbal had approached the high court seeking quashment of the case, contending that the legal grounds for registration of the first information report (FIR) should be examined and the case subsequently quashed. APP
