COLOMBO: England`s physically disabled crieket team defeated Pakistan by 62 runs in the Physical Disability Champions Trophy at the BOI Stadium in Colombo on Wednesday.

England PD captain Callum Flynn elected to bat, scoring 144 runs in 20 overs. Hugo Hammond top-scored with 43.

Hammond innings was studded with four boundaries and two maximums.

Other prominent batters from England were Liam Obrien (25) and skipper Flynn (21).

For the national side, captain Abdullah Ijaz, Waqif Shah and Abdul Basit took two wickets each.

In response, Pakistan lost wickets regularly.

Ghulam Muhammad and Waqif scored 17 runs each.
