NAWABSHAH: Different towns of Shaheed Benazirabad division on Monday were hit by a dust storm followed by moderate rainfall.

The dust storm swept through Nawabsah, Sakrand, Jam Saheb, 60-Miles, Daur towns of Shaheed Benazirabad district and Tando Adam, Sanghar and Shahpur Chakar towns of Sanghar district along with several hundred adjacent villages before they received several spells of moderate rain.

The otherwise hot and humid weather, prevailing in the region for weeks, turned pleasant after the rainfall.

Electric supply to all these towns and villages was disrupted due to the dust storm and rain.

There were no reports of any casualties or major damage to properties from any area of the two districts.
