Two killed, eight injured in separate incidents in Attock

TAXILA: Two persons were killed and eight others injured, including three women, in separate incidents in Attock, police and rescue sources said on Sunday.
In the first incident, a man was killed and three others were injured when a speeding car overturned near Ghazi Interchange on the Islamabad-Peshawar Motorway (M-1) in Hazro town.
The vehicle was travelling from Charsadda to Rawalpindi when a tyre suddenly burst near the interchange, causing the driver tolose controland the carto overturn.
As a result, Salman Khan, 30, died on the spot, while three other passengers sustained injuries.
Meanwhile, the body of a teenage boy who had been missing from Malah village since Saturday was found in the Indus River near Shadi Khan within the limits of the same police station.
Talha Iqbal, 16, student at a local college, had gone to the river with his friends after attending his college and later went missing under mysterious circumstances.
In another incident, five passengers travelling in a van, including three women, were injured after the vehicle skidded off the road and fell into a roadside ditch near Boota village in Attock due to speeding.
Rescue 1122 reached the scene and provided first aid to the injured passengers.
