WE were glued to our TV all day wondering what would happen next. It is a tragedy of unimaginable proportions. Our hearts go out to those parents who lost their bundles of joy.
The question is: what has the government done so far? The first and foremost requirement is to remove the moratoriumon capital punishment. The second most important step is for parliament to immediately enact a law that those supporting the Taliban are not Muslims and, if proved guilty, will face the death sentence. Deadly acts demand drastic actions.
