LAKKI MARWAT: Two suspected militants were killed in an encounter with personnel of law enforcement agencies in Tajazai here on Tuesday.

An official at Ghaznikhel police station said when personnel of police and security forces reached the area on information about the presence of wanted militants there they came under attack by the outlaws holed up in their hideouts.

The official said the law enforces returned the fire and during the ensuing gun battle two militants identified as Yaseen Wahab and Mobeen were killed. He said the killed militants were wanted by law enforcement agencies in terrorism related and other heinous cases. The law enforcers also seized arms and ammunition from the hideouts.
