KHAIRPUR: A teenage girl, Afsana, sustained a fatal bullet wound at her house located in Osta Gahi locality of Khairpur on Saturday. Her family members were quoted as telling the area police that Afsana, a first year (HSC-I) student, was wounded when the pistol she was cleaning accidentally went off.

The girl died instantly and her body was taken to the Khairpur Civil Hospital for a post-mortem examination. Later, it was handed over to the heirs.
