PESHAWAR: Police on Monday arrested an Afghan national for allegedly exhuming and desecrating children’s corpses.
Addressing a news conference here on Monday, SP Saddar division Fida Hussain said that a 19-year-old Afghan national was arrested from the Shaikhan area on the outskirts of the provincial capital for being involved in exhuming and desecrating the body of a baby girl.
He said the accused, currently living in the Bara Qadeem area, confessed that it was his third attempt at exhuming a minor’s body.
