N the auspicious occasion of the 96th National Day of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, Dr. Essa Laboratory & Diagnostic Centre extends its warmest felicitations to the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, His Majesty King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud; to HRH Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin AbdulAziz Al Saud, Crown Prince and Prime Minister; to H.E. Few relationships rest on foundations as deep as that of Pakistan and Saudi Arabia. The bond began at the birth of our nation, when the Kingdom was among the first to recognise Pakistan, and was formalised in the Treaty of Friendship of 1951. It has been sustaine d by faith, kinship and shared sacrifice. Millions of Pakist anis have built livelihoods in the Kingdom, and millions travel each year for Haj and Umrah.
That brotherhood has proven itself in times of trial. Saudi generosity reached Pakistan swiftly after the 2005 earthquake and the 2010 floods. Pakistan, in turn, has consistently stood with the Kingdom in defence of its territorial integrity and the sanctity of the Haramain Sharifain.
Today, Pakistan continues its role as a force for regional peace.
Amid the war involving the United States and Iran, Pakistan helped secure a ceasefire and hosted historic talks in Islamabad.We acknowledge with deep respect the efforts of Chief of Defence Forces, Field Marshal Syed Asim Munir, whose commitment to dialogue has strengthened Pakistan’s standing as a responsible peacemaker.
This cooperation entered a historic new phase on 7 August 2026. Building on the Strategic Mutual Defence Agreement of September 2025, Pakistan, Saudi Arabia and Türkiye signed the Makkah Joint Defence Agreement, affirming that an attack on one is an attack on all. Pakistan’s role is reflected in its nomination to head the pact’s first Secretariat in the Kingdom.
