KARACHI: Begum Shakila Tahawar Zaidi, mother of former Federal Board of Revenue chairman and prominent financial expert Shabbar Zaidi, was laid to rest on Tuesday.

A large number of people from all walks of life attended the funeral prayers held at Masjid Yasrab in DHA after Zuhr prayers.

She passed away on Monday evening at the age of 92.
