TAXILA: Five suspects were arrested for gambling in the jurisdiction of Rangoo police station in Attock on Tuesday.

Acting on a tip-off, a police party raided a place where a rooster fight was underway and arrested five people. Stake money amounting to Rs17,000, three motorcycles and four roosters were confiscated.

Separately, a man was arrested for possessing an illegal weapon.

Separate cases were registered against the suspects under relevant laws.
