QUETTA: A local leader of PML-N was gunned down in Washuk, police said on Tuesday.

Officials said that armed men barged into a house and opened fire, resulting in the killing of PML-N leader Ayub Mollahzai, who was also member of Washuk union council.

Police launched investigation, while the motive remained unknown.

Separately, three people, including a woman,were killed in different parts of Balochistan.

In Chaman, a man killed his wife in the border town over a dispute.

Another man, later identified as Naseeruddin, was found shot dead in the Narmak Johan area of Bolan. They body was later shifted to Mach hospital. Sources at the hospital said he was hitintheheadthateaused his death.

In Pishin shooting, armed men killed one Farooq. The motive for the murder remained unknown till the filing of this report.
