BUNER, Oct 25: The elders of three union councils, including Gadezai, Pacha and Malakpur, on Friday claimed that armed militants were present in Gadezai and demanded of police to take action against them.
They said this during an open kutchery, which was organised by Pir Baba police and attended by district police officer Asif Iqbal Mohmand and assistant commissioner Mohammad Awais Malik.
They said that the armed militants were freely moving in the area and demanded of the government to take action against them.
The elders demanded deployment of police at Rajgalai Kandow, Batai Qadar Nagar road, Pir Baba Swat road and Badool Mor to block entry of miscreants from other districts into Gadezai.
The DPO said on the occasion that the government was committed to bringing changes in police system so as to bring police and public closer. He said that they would not tolerate the presence of anti-state elements in the area. Correspondent
