KARACHI: Sabir Ali, 35, was beaten to death with sticks in Musharraf Colony on Saturday.

Mochko SHO Nadeem Ahmed said the victim was a drug addict. He had allegedly stolen something valuable from his neighbour`s home. The neighbour allegedly subjected him to severe beating, resulting in his death.

The suspect managed to escape from the crime scene. The body was shifted to Dr Ruth Pfau Civil Hospital to fulfil legal formalities.
