KARACHI: The Sindh High Court on Tuesday directed the interior ministry to remove the name of former managing director of the Sui Southern Gas Company Zohair Siddique from the exit control list allowing him to travel abroad.

The names of the former SSGC chief and several other present and former officials of the Oil and Gas Regulatory Authority, SNGPL and SSGC were placed on the ECL in connection with a multi-billion-rupee scam in Ogra.

They were barred from leaving the country without the approval of the competent authority and the court concerned.
