TAXILA: Provincial Minister for Minerals Chaudhry Sher Ali Khan here on Monday said Ramazan bazaars have been transformed into `ideal Ramazan markets`.

He was talking to newsmen af ter paying a snap visit to the Ramazan bazaar in Taxila.

`Very positive results are emerging from the Ramazan package extended by the government for supplying quality edibles to the citizens on controlled rates,` he claimed.

Headded:`AlargenumberofpeoplearevisitingtheRamazan bazaars, which is a positive sign and ef forts are being made to provide more relief to the citizens throughout the holy month.

The minister said subsidy was being spent on providing relief to the people. He also checked stalls of vegetables, fruits, flour, sugar, poultry, utility stores and meat.

Meanwhile, Farooq Hameed Sheikh, the director general environment, also visited the Ramazan bazaar in Hassanabdal on Monday. Correspondent
