SIALKOT: A widow was found murdered under mysterious circumstances at her home here on Wednesday at Panwaana-Badiana, Pasrur tehsil.

Police said suspect(s) slit throat of Sharifaan Bibi (60) and cut her nose and ears with some sharp weapon on Tuesday night. They said her neighbours found her murdered on Wednesday morning.

Police said the woman had been living alone for someyears at her house and her lone son was abroad for livelihood.

Police have shifted the body to Pasrur THQ Civil Hospital for autopsy and registered a case.

In another incident, a man Baraq Andaz Khan killed his wife Gulshan Batool with a knife over some domestic dispute here on Wednesday at NagorMotra, Daska tehsil. The suspect managed his escape.Correspondent
