KARACHI: The Progressive Panel has swept the Karachi Union of Journalists` (KUJ) annual elections for the sixth consecutive term.

Faheem Siddiqui and Liaquat Rana were elected president andgeneral secretary, respectively, for 2023-24 in polls held at Karachi Press Club (KPC) on Saturday.

Naeem Khokhar and Qazi Asif were elected as vice presidents, Faizan Lakhani and Samir Qureshi as joint secretar-ies and Javed Qureshi as treasurer.

Lubna Zeeshan, Muhammad Kashif Siddiqui, Ismail Dilawar, Muddasir Ghafoor,Muhammad Azhar and Sajjad Khokar were declared winners as members of KUJ`s executive e o m m it t e e .S t a f f Reporter
