SARGODHA: A couple and their one-and-a-halfyear-old child died in an accident on the Maharanwala-Kalabagh Road in Mianwali.
According to sources, Abdul Majeed was riding a motorcycle while his wife and infant child were the pillion riders. His motorcycle skidded off the road due to rain while overtaking a dumper truck .
As a result, Majeed, his wife and one-and-a-halfyear-old child all died on the spot.
Their bodies were shifted to DHQ Hospital.
Police have arrested the dumper driver.
FIRE: A fire broke out in the cancer ward of the Government TB Hospital, Sargodha.
The fire broke out in the ward located on the first floor of the hospital, that’s a part of the DHQ (Dr Faisal Masood) Teaching Hospital. On receiving information, the rescue team reached the spot and brought the fire under control.
