LARKANA: The Anti-Terrorism Court (ATC) Larkana sentenced Abdul Hafeez aka Mumtaz Kalhoro to death on Monday and sent Noor Muhammed Mirbahar to jail for life in a murder case.

Presided over by Judge Muhammed Riaz Rajput, the court also fined both Rs100,000 each. In case of default in paying the fined money, they would have to undergo six months more imprisonment.

The two were produced in the court where the judgement was announced and after conviction, they were shifted to the central prison.

They were booked under an FIR lodged with the Haideri police station by Gulzar Ali Langah for killing his nephew Akhtar Langah, a dispenser, on Oct 8, 2014 at his workplace near Zulfikar Bagh.
