DERA MURAD JAMALI: A police constable and an attacker were killed in an exchange of fire in Jhal Magsi area of Nasirabad division on Friday.

According to sources, armed men attacked the officialvehicleofSHOGandawah police station Ghulam Ali Qanlandrani when he was patrolling the main highway.

Constable Mohammad Sharif Lashari died in the attack.

The police retaliated and inthe exchange ofHre one of the attackers died.

Other attackers escaped.

Meanwhile, a member of a tribal peace force was 1(illed and another injured in a landmine blast in Philawagh area of Dera Bugti district.

Levies said two members of the peace force were on their way to Dera Bugti when their vehicle hit a landmine.

One member of the peace force died and another received injuries who was removed to the hospital.
