Bodies of all six victims of boat capsize retrieved

SUKKUR: All the six bodies of the people drowned in Nara Canal, when their boat capsised on Monday, were retrieved during the past 48 hours` continuous search.

Sources said the rescue teams, comprising divers of the Pakistan Navy, police personnel and villagers, fished out three bodies on Wednesday evening. They were identified as Bakhsh Ali Shar, 35, Badu Ali Shar, 16, and Khaliq Ali Shar, 32.

While the other three were retrieved on Thursday, who were named as Bakht Ali Shar, 12, Misri Shar, seven, Raja Ali Shar, eight all minors.

The boat capsised when 11 residents of the Drabo Shar village in Khairpur district were going to attend a marriage party. Six persons drowned in the accident while five swam to the safety.
