ISLAMABAD:Islamabad police arrested eight suspects from various parts of the city, and seized heroin, weapons and stolen property from their possession, a police spokesperson said.

Karachi Company police arrested three individuals, and recovered two 30-bore pistols and ammunition from them.

Sabzi Mandi police arrested a drug dealer, and recovered 120 grams of heroin from his possession.

Another man was also arrested, and a stolen mobile phone recovered from his possession.

Shams Colony police apprehended amaninvolved in illegally decanting gas in a cylinder.

Police also arrested two Afghan nationals for residing in the country illegally.

Cases have been registered against those arrested and further investigations are underway.
