NEW DELHI: Bangladesh Prime Minister Sheikh Mujibur Rahman has turned down India`s new `compromise formula`, according to reports reaching here from Dacca. He is said to have taken the view that the present time is inappropriate for initiating any talks. `Until Pakistan resolves its constitutional deadlock and a clearer picture emerges of the shape of things to come it will be better for India, as well as Bangladesh, to wait and see,` he is reported to have said.

Yesterday [April 3] in Dacca, Mr P.N.

Haskar, special envoy of Prime Minister Indira Gandhi, had a second round of talks with Foreign Minister Dr Kamal Husain.

The tall(s lasted for 80 minutes. It is believed in diplomatic circles here that Mr Haskar has accepted the position of Dacca that until Pakistan resolves its present constitutional crisis any contact between Islamabad and Dacca will not lead to any positive results.

It is further said that Dacca will not start proceedings against Pakistan Army officers in the near future. The `trials` will be held against the Razakars `by way of fulfilling the promises made to the people`. On Mr Haskar`s return to Delhi, Mrs Indira Gandhi will reply to President Bhutto`s letter.
