Research has been conducted over the years regarding the chemical, mineral and microbiological characteristics ofZamzam water, and its potential effects on human health. Through appropriate scientific methodology, the Islamabadbased Health Research Institute may undertake a study to determine if there are any particular benefits of the water on the cardiovascular system. Such a study may explore if the Zamzam water contains properties orconstituentsthat may potentially have protective effects against oxidative stress, inflammation or damage to cardiac tissues. In the event that any such potential application is identified, its compatibility with tissues, infectioncontrol requirements, electrolyte balance, and other relevant medical safety considerations should be scientifically evaluated.
