TOBA TEK SINGH: Two persons died and as many others injured critically after their speeding car overturned on National highway near Chak 79/10-R bus stop in Khanewal district on Monday.
The deceased were identified as Ahmad (26) and Waseem (35) and the wounded as Agib Ali (45) and Shahnawaz (12). The injured were shifted to Khanewal DHQ Hospital.
In another incident, a 15-year-old boy died when a motorcycle collided with his bicycle at Ghousia Chowk on Rajana Road, at Pirmahal. The deceased was identified as Hussain.
The biker also sustained serious injuries and was shifted to Pirmahal THQ hospital.
SUICIDES: In Dhudhiwala area of Faisalabad, a young man died by suicide.
Sources said Saqib Ali (30) shot himself dead after locking himself in a room of his house afterquarreling with his parents over some monetary issue.
Shaista, wife of Akbar, took poison along with her minor son in Rasoolpura. Both were shifted to Allied Hospital where Shaista expired.
At Chak al 659 GB, Faisalabad, Wajid Ali (17) hanged himself from a tree in fields.
Reports said Wajid was alone after death of his father and second marriage of his mother. He was living with his uncle but due to disappointment over his circumstances, he ended his life.
MURDER CASE: Police have traced a blind murder case in Jhang, arresting the victim’s brother for allegedly killing him over a property dispute.
According to a police spokesperson, Shahadat Kachiana was found murdered at his house at Chak Janput two days ago. His family had informed Massan police that an unidentified person had axed him to death. During investigation, victim’s brother Liaqat Ali confessedtokillinghisbrother over a property dispute.
