PARACHINAR: Political authorities in Kurram Agency foiled a sabotage attempt and picked up four suspects along with a vehicle laden with weapons.

Law enforcement personnel were carrying out snap-checking of vehicles in upper parts of the tribal region on a tip-off when a pick-up defied a signal to stop at the Ruzacheck-post and sped away.

Security personnel chased the vehicle and found it abandoned.

However, the fleeing suspects were also captured.

The suspects were identified as Mohammad Zaman (driver), Rashid, Sohail and Mohammad Tauseef.

The seized weapons included rocket launcher ammunition and 45 fuses.
