Punjab to appoint consultant for BIC

LAHORE: The Punjab government will appoint a consultant for the Balochistan Institute of Cardiology at Quetta.

The PC-Il for the appointment at a cost of Rs26.936 million was approved in the 11th meeting of the Provincial Development Working Party of 2014-15 fiscal year 2014-15 here on Monday. The meeting was presided over by Punjab Planning and Development Board Chairman Irfan Elahi.

The other approved schemes include the development of master plan for Jallo Park, (PC-II) at a cost of Rs3 million; Urban sewerage and drainage scheme at Pirmahal, Toba Tek Singh (PC-II) with a sum of Rs313.0m and comprehensive water supply scheme at Kamalia in Toba Tek Singh district (PC-II) at a cost of Rs443.754 million.
