KARACHI: A half-a-minute-long video apparently prepared by the family or party members of the MuttahidaQaumiMovement lawmaker, Rashid Godil, was released to the media on Wednesday.

`I am thankful to all the people of Pakistan whoprayed for my life. My mother prays for me, you have prayed for me. I have firm belief that the Saviour is more potent than the destroyer,` said Mr Godil clad in brown shawl with neatly combed hair.

`My treatment is continuing, but still there is a problem in (my) voice. Allah will do the best,` said Mr Godil in the video.
