`PTI struggle a failure` He said PPP along with other democratic forces always resisted attacks on democracy in the country. `Nawaz Sharif has gone but the democratic dispensation is in place,` he observed.

Speaking about military takeovers in the country in the past, the senior PPP leader said leader of one party was again seeking `umpire`s finger` or `whistle` but failed to get the democratic dispensation removed.

Reporters sought Mr Khuhro`s comment on the absence of MNA Pir Mazharul Haq and his MPA son Pir Mujeebul Haq from the press conference as well as the special party meeting held at the residence of MNA Rafiq Jamali. Mr Khuhro replied that his meeting with them was scheduled at the Pirs` residence within a few hours.
