LAHORE: The Water and Power Development Authority (Wapda) has sanctioned one-month pay for its employees on the demand of the All Pakistan Wapda Hydro Electric Workers Union in recognition of their services for the nation during the lockdown.

“The authority has decided to award honorarium equal to one-month basic pay to all Wapda employees. The union also held a meeting and showed gratitude to the Wapda chairman for accepting demand of the workers,” said a union spokesman on Tuesday.—Staff Reporter
