KTRADE and easypaisa have launchedanintegrationthatleiseasypaisa users open a Pakistan Stock Exchange investment account directly inside the easypaisa app in under 10 minutes, without paperwork or a branch visit, as per a press release.
On its first day live, the integration set a new record for the highest number of investment accounts opened on the Pakistan Stock Exchange in a single day.
Easypaisa users can now open a KTrade Sahulat Account, subject to applicable regulatory limits and conditions, using the identity details already verified in their easypaisa profile.
‘The demand was always there.
When we removed the branch visit and the paperwork, people came in numbers that surprised the entire market, and most of them were opening their first investment account. That tells us the barrier was access,’ said Mahmood Ali Shah Bukhari, CEO, KTrade.
