By Our Correspondent 2017-11-15
TAXILA: President of Pakistan Justice and Democratic Party (PJDP) and former chief justice Iftikhar Mohammad Chaudhry on Tuesday crticised the present government for amending the Constitution to make a disqualified premier eligible for holding party office.

Addressing the District Bar Association, Attock, he ruled out the possibility of martial law or technocrats` government.

Alluding to the PML-N, he said those talking against judiciary, used to praise it in the past and were clearly involved in contempt of court.

He said the lawyers` movement had strengthened democracy. He said the dictator was hiding somewhere abroad.

Central Vice President PJDP Advocate Sheikh Ahsanuddin while addressing on the occasion said that politicians were busy in blame game ignoring the people`s sufferings.
