TAXILA:TheHassanabdal PML-N president on Monday joined PTI along with hundreds of his supporters.

Asad Khan Tahirkhali announced his decision at his residence in the presence of local PTI leaders including MPA from Taxila Siddique Khan, Malik Sohail Khan Kamrial, Sardar Mohammad Ali and Malik Azmat.

While replying to mediapersons questions he said he and other diehard PML-N workers were sidelined by party leaders and members of the parliament in the area. He said despite his decade long services especially during military rule, he was ignored in all political and administrative matters.

He said that during recently held local bodies`elections, he and his panel were not awarded a single ticket.

Speaking on this occasion, the PTI leaders welcomed him to the party`s fold and praised his services for the well being of the people of the area and assured him support. Correspondent
