KARACHI: Commander Chinese People`s Armed Police General Wang Ning discussed matters related to counterterrorism, urban terrorism and policing in a meeting with director general of Pakistan Rangers Sindh at the Rangers Headquarters on Wednesday, an ISPR statement said.

The Chinese guests were briefed about the Karachi operation. General Wang appreciated the efforts of law enforcement agencies, especially Pakistan Rangers, Sindh and people for restoring peace and tranquillity in the metropolis.

He said Karachi operation was a successful model for the forces of other countries.

Gen Wang also visited the mausoleum of Quaid-iAzam, it concluded.
