Sikh community’s role praised

KARACHI: Paying tribute to the Sikh community, Deputy Mayor of Karachi Arshad Vohra on Tuesday said that they were playing their due role in the development and progress of the country.
He stated this while visiting Guru Nanak Darbar located in the Swami Narayan temple in connection with the 548th birth anniversary celebrations of Guru Nanak on Tuesday.
Earlier, Colonel Shahid of Pakistan Rangers, Karachi Metropolitan Corporation Sajjan (CBA) union chief Zulfiqar Shah and others also visited the temple and spoke with Sikh Council chief Sardar Ramesh Singh and other community members, says a statement.
