`There is no need to submit separate forms for MBBS, BDS for various categories of seats.
It asks the eligible candidates to carefullylistupfullnamesof medicaland dentalcoHegesintheorder that they will like to be considered for admission. It will be mandatory to give an order of preferences.
Once given, the order of preferences will be final as neither any subsequent change will be allowed nor any exceptions will be made.
Starting with the first preference, applicants will be assessed and ranked according to the merit for each college. A computerised matching process will allocate the applicants meeting the minimum merit requirements a place to the highestlisted preference for which they will be eligible.Once offered a place to the highest listed preference, an applicant cannot demand admission to a college named lower in his or her preferred list. Under no circumstances, an applicant will be considered for a college, he or she has not named in order of preferences.
The admission authority of the private institution concerned cannot assign a college on its own if the alternate choices are not indicated.
The applicants should not name their preferred college repeatedly in every space on the admission form. Similarly, it will be useless to name only one college. In either case, the applicant will receive a single place on the list for that col-lege and it will not increase the chances of his or her being allocated a seat in that particular college.
A candidate must join the college for which he or she is selected after depositing the due fee within seven days of display of the merit list. The admission will stand cancelled automatically in case fee is not deposited.
Only selected candidates who will join their respective colleges will be considered for betterment or upgrading in the subsequent round depending on the availability of vacant seats. The shif t in such upgrading will be compulsory and mandatory. No request for mutual transfer or status retention or downgradation will be entertained.
