Students of Sialkot, Sahiwal shine in MBBS

SAHIWAL: Aiza Usman, Amara Asif and Mahlka Iqbal of the Sialkot Medical College bagged first, second and third positions by securing 1,371, 1,341 and 1,328 marks respectively in the MBBS final examination.

The examination was held in February-April 2022 and students of 41 medical colleges in Punjab appeared in the examination.

The Sahiwal Medical College (SMC) shone as all the103studentsgotthrough the examination.

The results announced by the University of HealthSciences, Lahore, said 103 students of the SMC appeared in the final examination and all of them were declared successful.

Wah Medical College, Wah Cantt, showed the lowest result of 60 per cent.

Only two of the five students sailed through.

Dera Ghazi Khan Medical College, D.G Khan and Gujranwala Medical College, Gujranwala showed 99.1 pass percentage.

As many as 5,488 medical graduates appeared in the examination; of them, 5,062 passed, 391 students failed and the results of 35 were held. The overall pass percentage is 92.83 per cent.
