PPP to stage comeback in general elections, says Bilawal

KARACHl: Pakistan Peoples Party chairman Bilawal Bhutto-Zardari has said that the PPP will stage a befitting comeback all over the country in the next general elections as the masses are yearning for good governance, employment, peace and prosperity, which have been `snatched` by the PML-N government.
The PPP chief said, while conducting interviews for new office-bearers of the party`s divisional and district chapters in Sindh at Bilawal House on Wednesday, that new office-bearers would have to live up to the expectations of the people who had pinned hopes on them.
On the first day of interviews for electing new office-bearers of Larkana and Sukkur divisions and the districts falling within their jurisdictions, the party chairman highlighted the responsibilities to be shouldered by the new office-bearers with regard to the upcoming general elections.
PPP women wing president Faryal Talpur, Opposition Leader in the National Assembly Syed Khurshid Ahmed Shah, PPP Sindh president Nisar Ahmed Khuhro, former chief minister Syed Qaim Ali Shah, Aftab Shaban Mirani, Moula Bux Chandio, Waqar Mehdi, Agha Siraj Durrani, Mir Aijaz Jakhrani, Senator Aajiz Dhamrah, Rashid Rabbani and other senior leaders were present at the interviews.
